The Outdoor Way of the Cross returns to downtown Calgary on April 18, 2025.
This powerful event offers our community a profound opportunity to reflect on the passion, death, and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Road Safety Volunteers Needed

Help ensure the safety of over 3,000 participants by volunteering for Road Safety:

• Volunteer Arrival Time: 6:30–6:45 AM
• Event Start: Approximately 8:00 AM
• Anticipated Completion: Around 10:30 AM
• Volunteer Parking: Available at the Pastoral Centre parkade
• Road Safety Lead: Grand Knight of Council 1186 (Sacred Heart)
• Volunteer Requirement: 14 Knights needed

We are looking for men to assist with:

• Directing traffic and parking
• Maintaining a secure perimeter for participants
• Ensuring respect for private property
• Supporting Calgary Police Service with rolling road closures
• Overseeing security and access around porta-potties
• Helping to keep our brothers and sisters safe throughout the event
• Assisting with event cleanup
