How to Book in 3 Steps

  1. Download the GiveBlood app or visit blood.ca.

  2. Join our Partners for Life team:

    If prompted, allow the team champion to view your name and email so we can provide reminders, ride coordination if requested, and campaign updates.

  3. Book your appointment during the campaign window.

If you do not see “team appointments,” simply book any available appointment at the Calgary donor centre during the campaign window and make sure you have joined the team so your donation is counted with Sacred Heart.

Plan for about one hour at the donor centre, plus travel time.
Bring valid government-issued ID.
Drink plenty of fluids and eat well beforehand.

To encourage participation and celebrate this work of charity, we are offering weekly prize draws and one grand prize draw during the campaign window.

  • Week 2: Safeway gift card ($50)

  • Week 3: Shell gift card ($25)

  • Week 4: VIP Experience Prize (winner’s choice, $50 value):

    • Clam Chowder Night VIP, or

    • Movie Night VIP with upgraded snacks

Grand prize

  • Dinner for two gift certificate ($100)

Eligibility and verification
Entries are intended for participants who join our Partners for Life team and book an appointment during the campaign window. Selected winners must confirm their booked appointment and attendance during the campaign window. If a selected winner cannot confirm, a redraw will occur. No medical information is requested.

Rides are coordinated based on volunteer availability and scheduled appointment times.

Knights will be available after Mass on selected weekends to help parishioners join the team and book appointments using the GiveBlood app or blood.ca.

No. Donate at any available appointment time during the campaign window. If you can book into team appointments, do so. If not, book any available time and make sure you have joined the team.
