The Third Annual Knights of Columbus Stampede Breakfast will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Sacred Heart Parish.
This has quickly become one of Council 1186’s great parish and community traditions. Last year, we welcomed and served almost 800 people from the parish and the surrounding community. That is a lot of pancakes, a lot of coffee, a lot of hungry folks, and a whole lot of goodwill.
This is one of those days when Council 1186 gets to do what it does best: feed people well, welcome everyone with a grin, bring some country-and-western spirit to Sacred Heart, and show the parish and neighbourhood what Knights of Columbus fraternity looks like in action.
But a breakfast this big needs a crew.
We need brothers for setup, griddles, cooking, serving, coffee, juice, hospitality, donations, kitchen support, garbage, and the end-of-the-trail cleanup crew.
Setup begins at 7:00 a.m., and the event is expected to continue until approximately 3:00 p.m., with cleanup afterward.
When the last guest heads out, we still need men to help close things down properly. Tables, chairs, kitchen, equipment, garbage, hall, and school grounds all need to be put back in good order before we ride off into the sunset.
