Stations of the Cross 2025

On Friday, March 7th, the first Friday of Lent, Council 1186 had the privilege of leading the Stations of the Cross at Sacred Heart Parish. Parishioners gathered for this solemn devotion, prayerfully reflecting on the Passion of Christ. It was a powerful evening of faith, with strong attendance and a deep spirit of reverence.

Following the service, our Council hosted a simple meal of clam chowder in the parish hall, providing an opportunity for fellowship as we began the Lenten season. The GK prepared the chowder, while Brother Sijo ensured its final preparation and serving. Sourdough bread and desserts rounded out the meal, and we also sold half a dozen bowls as takeaway.

This event was a true reflection of what we stand for as Knights—faith, fraternity, and service. Sincere thanks to all who contributed, with special recognition to Brother Sijo for his excellent work in meal service. The positive response from parishioners affirms the value of our efforts.

Brother Knights, we serve, we pray, and we build our community.
