2024 Christmas Party

Council 1186 held its annual Christmas party on Saturday, December 14th, at Sacred Heart’s Upper Hall. The evening provided a pleasant opportunity for members to gather and celebrate the birth of Christ, reflecting on the past year. Our Council Chaplain, Fr. Arjay, offered grace before the meal.

Everyone enjoyed a satisfying meal, featuring the Grand Knight’s pulled pork and Brother Sijo’s ham. We extend our appreciation to Brothers Sijo and Robin for their contribution of a refreshing coleslaw, and to Brother Lorne for his efforts in securing the necessary supplies. A slideshow presentation showcased key moments and activities from the Knights’ 2024 calendar, prompting enjoyable recollections and conversation.

We were pleased to welcome Brother Knights Ian Clark and Dave Onysyk, along with Ladies Lorraine and Debbie. We also welcomed Paul Freeze, a friend of the Knights, and his lovely wife, Teresa.

The event was a success, fostering camaraderie among members and providing a fitting close to the year’s activities. We express our sincere gratitude to our Chaplain, Fr. Arjay, for his presence and for the use of Sacred Heart’s Upper Hall.
