DESCRIPTION:Shrove Tuesday Pancake Breakfast – Tuesday\, March 4\, 2025\nHosted by the Knights of Columbus Council 1186 \nWe are excited to host a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Breakfast for the students and staff of Sacred Heart Elementary School.\nThis traditional event is a great way to celebrate the start of Lent with a delicious meal and a time of fellowship. \n\nDate: Tuesday\, March 4th\, 2025 – We’ll start cooking at 7:00 AM (kitchen opens at 6:30 AM)\, and plan to wrap up around Noon.\nLocation: Sacred Heart Church Upper Hall\nWhat we’re doing: We will be making approximately 700 pancakes using Brother Lorne’s excellent recipe\, and also providing bottled water.\nYour contribution is vital: We rely on Brother Knights to make this event a success. If you can lend a hand with cooking or serving\, your help would be greatly appreciated.\n\nBy hosting this event\, we are demonstrating our commitment to serving the community and living out their Catholic faith. \nWe hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:Our council will be leading the Stations of the Cross this Friday\, March 7th\, at 7 PM.\nWe are seeking volunteers to assist in the service. Specifically\, we require: \n\nTwo candle holders\nOne person to carry the cross\nKnights to participate in the recitation of intentions and prayers\n\nYour contribution will help ensure a reverent and meaningful service. \nFollowing the Stations\, we will be serving clam chowder in the Upper Hall. This will provide an opportunity for fellowship and community. All parishioners are invited\, and we especially encourage those who participate in the Stations to join us for a warm meal. \nWe hope you will consider participating in this important service and joining us for the chowder afterward.
