DESCRIPTION:Knights of Columbus Council 1186 is hosting a special Movie Night on Sunday\, November 30\, featuring a short film on Saint Carlo Acutis and his love for the Eucharist. \nThe film (about 35 minutes) presents the life of Saint Carlo and his work compiling Eucharistic miracles from around the world\, connecting directly with our recent Eucharistic Miracles of the World Exhibition. DESCRIPTION:Council 1186 Shrove Tuesday Pancake Program Date: Tuesday\, February 17\, 2026 Time: 07:00 – 12:00 (Tentative) Location: St. Carlo Acutis Hall [Upper Hall] \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the spirit of Fraternal Charity\, the Brothers of Council 1186 will provide the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Breakfast for the students and faculty of Sacred Heart Elementary School on Tuesday\, Feb 17\, 2026\, in the Upper Hall (St. Carlo Acutis Hall). \nAs part of our Faith in Action work\, this breakfast is organized and staffed by our Council.\nBrothers will handle food preparation\, serving\, and stewardship of the hall throughout the morning\, ensuring the facility is returned to the parish in pristine condition.\nWe expect to prepare about 700 pancakes. \nMenu: pancakes\, butter\, syrup\, water.\nStudent flow:\nThe first students arrive around 9:00 a.m. Students typically come two classrooms at a time.\nAfter each sitting\, we clean and reset the tables for the next two classrooms\, continuing until all students and faculty have been served. \nCall to All Brothers:\nBrothers are requested to assemble at 07:00 AM to begin food preparation and setup.\nThe hall is booked until approximately 2:00 PM to ensure cleanup and full restoration. \nAttire:\nPlease wear Council attire if you have it (Council shirts and aprons). \nDuty:\nKitchen service\, student hospitality (serving and table reset)\, and hall restoration (cleanup and teardown).
