DESCRIPTION:The Calgary Hike for Life is one of the most important pro-life events of the year\, combining visible public witness with real financial support for pro-life education in schools and parishes. Last year\, our Sacred Heart Knights team raised $2\,100 and finished first among the teams listed on Canada Helps\, a strong result that showed what can happen when we step forward together. \nThis year\, we are aiming even higher\, with a goal of $3\,000.\nPlease consider joining our team\, making a donation\, or helping us build momentum for this worthwhile cause.\nEvery step taken and every dollar raised helps strengthen a culture of life. \nJOIN OUR TEAM OR DONATE

SUMMARY:Pancake Breakfast in Support of the Global Wheelchair Mission
DESCRIPTION:Brother Knights\, volunteers are needed for our Parish Pancake Breakfast in support of the Knights of Columbus Global Wheelchair Mission on Sunday\, May 24\, 2026. \nThis will be a parish-facing event and a practical opportunity for us to serve together while supporting a charitable mission that provides wheelchairs to those in need. If the weather cooperates\, we fully expect that the majority of the event will be able to take place outdoors\, which should make for a strong and visible parish gathering. \n1186 Global Wheelchair Mission Donation page [LINK] \nWe will need help across the full span of the morning and early afternoon\, including: \n\nearly morning setup\nkitchen support\nbatter preparation\nworking the griddle\nhelp at the barbecue\nserving and general support\ncleanup and teardown\n\nVolunteer schedule:Setup begins at 7:00 a.m.The event is expected to run through approximately 1:00 p.m.Cleanup and teardown will continue afterward\, with the day expected to wrap up by about 3:00 p.m. \nPlease sign up (above) if you are able to help.
