DESCRIPTION:The Outdoor Way of the Cross returns to downtown Calgary on April 18\, 2025.This powerful event offers our community a profound opportunity to reflect on the passion\, death\, and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. \nRoad Safety Volunteers Needed\nHelp ensure the safety of over 3\,000 participants by volunteering for Road Safety: \n\nVolunteer Arrival Time: 6:30–6:45 AM\nEvent Start: Approximately 8:00 AM\nAnticipated Completion: Around 10:30 AM\nVolunteer Parking: Available at the Pastoral Centre parkade\nRoad Safety Lead: Grand Knight of Council 1186 (Sacred Heart)\nVolunteer Requirement: 14 Knights needed\n\nWe are looking for men to assist with: \n\nDirecting traffic and parking\nMaintaining a secure perimeter for participants\nEnsuring respect for private property\nSupporting Calgary Police Service with rolling road closures\nOverseeing security and access around porta-potties\nHelping to keep our brothers and sisters safe throughout the event\nAssisting with event cleanup\n\nYour service is a valuable act of charity.Sign up to take part in this work of faith.
