Pay attention to words or phrases that resonate with you personally. \n\n\nMeditatio (Meditation): Share your thoughts and feelings about the passage. What emotions does it evoke in you? What does it reveal about Jesus\, Bartimaeus\, or yourself? \n\n\nContemplatio (Contemplation): Spend a few moments in silent contemplation\, allowing the words of the passage to sink into your hearts.\nAs a group\, we will then share our reflections on this time of quiet and consider what God may be calling us to do in response to this passage. \n\n\nQuestions for Reflection: \n\nWhat does Bartimaeus’ persistence reveal about his faith?\nHow does Jesus’ response to Bartimaeus’ request reflect his compassion and power?\nIn what ways can we emulate Bartimaeus’ faith in our own lives?\nHow does this story inspire you to follow Jesus more closely?\n\nMay this Lectio Divina journey lead us to a deeper understanding of God’s love and a renewed commitment to following Jesus. \n\n\n\n\nRemember: There is no right or wrong way to experience Lectio Divina.
